Pneumatic drilling autonomous tilting platform
The pneumatic drilling autonomous tilting platform provides a radically different
working method for infrastructure work on an incline and is an essential tool for
infrastructure work on dam
discharge carriers:
- Breaking of the concrete surface
- Precision drilling (location, angle, depth)
- Preparation and pouring of grout mixture in the holes
- Installation of dowels and anchors
The pneumatic drilling autonomous tilting platform was designed to:
- Move up and down the slope of the dam discharge carrier, as required by the platform operator
- Keep the working platform level while allowing it to move sideways to get closer to the work plane
- Provide sufficient space for workers to spend the entire working day on the platform
- Protect worker safety in accordance with the provisions of the Commission de la Santé et de la Sécurité au Travail and other applicable safety regulations.
It also allows for:
- Proper positioning for precision drilling
- The installation of a concrete mixer for the preparation of the mixture required for dowel anchoring
- The use of a compressed-air system to clean out the drilled holes before pouring in the grout mixture
- Drill mast movement over the entire length of the platform, perpendicular to the work plane.
