A result of the resourcefulness of the Gercom team,
the guiding frame for machining tool was designed specifically to fill a pressing
need since it allows for the fast, precise and efficient stripping of the surface
concrete of structures which require that striking energy be kept to a minimum.
Work can be performed on any kind of concrete surface, including
bridge pillars,
kerbs and highways, and all planes:
ground or overhead slabs, straight walls and sloped walls.
The current version of the guiding frame is smaller and half the weight of the
original, and includes an integrated, more efficient, more polyfunctional and
better-performing machining tool. The machining tool strips concrete at the
required depth, in successive layers, over a larger area without needing to
move the guiding frame. The work is therefore completed faster, without
excessive vibration (101.27 Joules), to a very precise stripping depth.
This system only requires one operator to remote-control the guiding frame. This
latter feature makes it easy to move the frame without endangering the safety of
the operator.
Other features of the guiding frame:
- Remote-controlled, ensuring precise vertical and lateral machining tool movements within the frame (5.5 m. x 1.5 m.), and stripping depth (0 to 350 mm.)
- Flawless, even finishing in a single pass
- Can be handled with a hydraulic excavator, which supplies it with the required hydraulic energy.
